Return to Hybrid

  Interim Superintendent Kristopher Schuh, in consultation with the Jefferson County Board of Education, public health, district leadership, and school leadership, has made the decision to return middle school and high school students (grades 6-12) to in-person instruction in a Hybrid model beginning Monday, January 25. A number of factors influenced the decision including current county-level COVID-19 case data, a strong desire of both students and families to return to in-person learning, a larger pool of guest teachers (substitutes) which can improve our ability to sustain operations while responding to virus spread and quarantines, and the improved availability of COVID-19 testing. 

The Remote Learning option will remain for those students and families who choose not to return to in-person instruction.

More information about schedules and specific return to in-person plans will be provided by each secondary school to families and students over the next week. Please keep an eye on your email and our website for updates.
