Destination Imagination (DI) is an incredible after school program that developers lifetime
creativity, problem solving, STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts and Math), quick
thinking, and teamwork skills. It is a volunteer-based organization that has inspired children
for over 40 years! Teams practice weekly after school and prepare for the Jefferson County
DI competition on March 14h. (Kids MUST be available all-day March 14th to participate in
this program). It can be a life-changing experience for many children, and it depends fully
on parent volunteers. Meeting times are planned for 2:30-4:00 pm after school once a
week, and the registration fee is $100*, but registration fees are waived for parent volunteers
and SCHOLARSHIPS ARE AVAILABLE to cover the cost.
Everitt is BRAND NEW to Destination Imagination so we are holding a Parent/Student
Info Night on Sept 12th from 6:45 to 7:45pm!! Come experience DI. Kids and Parents
