 I have created student accounts that enable you to use Animoto. Come see me if you need one or aren't sure how to create your own! Animoto is great for creating Book Trailers or for any class presentation. You can upload your own images or images from the Internet. You can even pick your own music! Follow these instructions to help you get started with Animoto.
 Search HERE for "properly attributed, Creative Commons photos for school." All images are appropriate for the school setting, thanks to Flicker Safesearch and other priopriety features. 
 You will need to create an account using your Gmail in order to use Prezi. Follow these instructions to do that. Prezi is a presentation software that lets you create a project to be remembered! There are numerous templates and designs to pick from. Next time you need to create a presentation- remember Prezi!
Log-in to Moovly with your Gmail account. Follow these instructions for Moovly. This awesome tool lets you create animations and other multimedia presentations. Including animations in your presentation is a great way to keep the attention of your audience. Are you ready to begin animating? Check out Moovly!
Lucid Press

 Lucidpress can be added to your Google Drive by going to New>More>type in Lucidpress if it isn't there>Connect. Lucidpress is great for a variety of things: newsletters, pamphlets, brochures, menus, any type of report really!

 Lucidchart can be added to your Google Drive the same way as Lucidpress. Or you can click on the icon to the left and sign-in that way. Lucidchart chart is great for making diagrams and flowcharts. 
Log-in to Padlet with your Gmail account. Padlet is like a digital piece of paper where you can put images, documents, text, videos. It's like an interactive poster-board! Padlet is collaborative, which means you can share it with people and they can add to the same padlet as you.   
 Log-in to Buncee with your Gmail account. Buncee is a digital canvas, similar to Padlet. It is great for projects, presentations, newsletters. You can even record audio! Make your presentation interactive with Buncee! You can upload videos, text, documents, images. 
Todays Meet
Log-in with your Gmail account. This is a great tool for facilitating a digital discussion in class. TodaysMeet enables discussion and "gives everyone a voice." TodaysMeet is ideal for enabling a 'backchannel' in your classroom. 
Log-in with your Gmail account. Piktochart is great for creating reports, infographics, posters, presentations.  
Screen Castify
ScreenCastify is a screencasting extension for Google Chrome. It allows you to record your screen activity with your voice speaking over. It's ideal for creating tutorials, lessons, adding audio to Google Slides, presentations, etc. Click here for instructions on how to add ScreenCastify to your Chrome Browser. Come see me in the library if you need help or go to the Chrome Web Store to search for this extension & install it. This is a great tool for both teachers and students and it's FREE!


Stupeflix is very similar to Animoto. It's a free tool that lets you make videos. You can upload images, music, add text. It's great for book trailers or presentations for any class! I created a sample one if you'd like to see what Stupeflix looks like. You can log-in with your school Gmail account. 

The following themes allow you to type in a lot of text for text slides: Outline, Classic, Scrapbook, Unreel, Blueprint, Comics, Martini.


Are you bored with Google Slides? Are you looking for more creativity in your powerpoint presentation? Check out Emaze! It's very similar to Prezi. It's a powerpoint presentation tool. I created a 
sample one here if you'd like to check it out. Emaze has numerous creative templates to choose from. You will need to create an account using your Gmail.
 If you use sticky notes to brainstorm, organize ideas, record thoughts- then Stormboard is the tool for you! It's very similar to Google Keep. It's a digital "real-time, sticky note whiteboard." It's collaborative too, which means you can work with a partner or group, on the same digital whiteboard. It's free to use and you can login with your gmail account.
Canva is my new, favorite tool! As advertised on its website, Canva is "amazingly simply graphic design software." It has numerous templates for flyers, posters, menus, invitations, posters, brochures, pamphlets, infographics, facebook covers, blog graphics, the possibilities are endless.
It's collaborative which means it's great for group projects. You and your partner(s) can work on the same project at the same time. It's easy to sign-up, simply click on the "Sign-up with Google" option.
It has an easy to use drag-and-drop interface and millions of images to choose from.  
 This Read Write Think Timeline allows students to plot events, dates, and add descriptions. It can be saved and emailed to the teacher. You can organize your timeline by date, time, or event. A timeline is a graphical representation of related items or events in sequential order and displayed along a line.  

 Storybird is a great story-boarding platform with hundreds of illustrators to choose from. Click HERE to view instructions on how to create a Storybird account. You will use your Gmail account to create an account with Storybird.
